IAF Scope 20 Shipbuilding
A. TPI at the time of charter hire of OSV/OIL Tanker/AHTS/PSV/HPC/Patrol Craft/ /Crew boats /Fast Crew Boats etc: 1. Inspection of offered vessels’ equipments, systems and general arrangements/ lay out in conformity to the tender/contract specifications of the vessels. 2. Review of all Vessels’ performance documents like Certificate of Bollard Pull test, Certificate of Break Load of Anchor Winch, Dead Weight Scale, Crane Load test, DP trials, Fi-Fi trials, speed trials, FMEA, etc. and other functional tests/trials as applicable for various types of vessels offered for inspection along with verification of previous maintenance records of these equipments. 3. Verification of Necessary tests/trials in respect of DP system, Anchor Handling operations, Bollard Pull test, Fire Fighting operations, safety and rescue operations as applicable to the offered vessel along with related documents. 4. To verify Contractor and the Vessel are certified under ISM code and evaluation of implementation of Contractor’s Safety Management system (ISM code). 5. Verification of all applicable statutory and class certificates (including fire-fighting, dynamic positioning, Bollard Pull Test etc.) 6. Conformance of equipments condition/operational status and standard of maintenance, in accordance with class and statutory requirement, equipment manufacturer’s specifications/ recommendations and inspection of vessel’s log books. 7. Checking of all LSA and FFA equipments and items and all communication systems including GMDSS. 8. Conformance of compliance with SOLAS and applicable requirements of UKOOA guidelines. 9. Verification of compliance with applicable clauses of MARPOL and maintenance of records accordingly. B] ROB Survey: 1. Verification of testimonials & certificates related to ROB Survey 2.
