NABCB offers accreditation to certification bodies as per requirements of international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012 “Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.” The standard aims at recognizing an individual’s competence to perform a task or job. The personnel certification body accredited under ISO/IEC 17024:2012 has the responsibility to ensure that only those persons who demonstrate competence in the defined scope are awarded certification. These bodies also take care of Impartiality, Confidentiality and Security requirements during certification process.

NABCB is also signatory to the Mutual Recognition Arrangements of International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) facilitating acceptance of certified personnel within the countries under this arrangement.
