The Quality City Mission is a collaborative initiative that puts Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the centre stage & makes them the key drivers of enhancing the quality of life through initiatives focused on three key themes: Mission Skilling, Mission Clean City, and Mission Education.

Trends over the past decade have highlighted that Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities will be key pillars of the growth trajectory of the country. With that in mind, Nashik, one of the fastest-emerging cities, is the first chapter of the Quality City Mission. A successful model for quality across the identified sectors will be established in Nashik, which can then be scaled and implemented across cities based on local contours with a focus on situational analysis of each of the sectors to understand the present scenario, identification of bottlenecks and potential challenges, and on-ground implementation support
